Friday, February 1st, 2019 our boys soccer team was honored with a pep rally put on by ASB who cheered them on with smiles and goodie bags. The lunch time celebration honored the boys hard working and competitive season and brought smiles to the boys as they walked down the red carpet. Varsity has played a hard season, with a record of 2-5-3. The boys have given it their all in every game this season, and have played with their hearts until the very end. Edson Zamarron, a senior on the varsity team,suffered an injury close to the end of season that left him unable to play the last few games. Although he was unable to play, he attended the games, giving the team his support.
The junior varsity team has also played a very competitive season with an ending record of 1-4-1 in league. The team, consisting of mainly freshmen and sophomores, holds special talent that will be greatly used at the varsity level in the upcoming years. Great season boys! Keep it up next year!
